11th Annual Outlaws & Legends Music Festival

The 11th Anniversary Outlaws & Legends Music Festival, benefitting Ben Richey Boys Ranch, will return to The Back Porch of Texas on March 25th and 26th, 2022. Hosted by country music artist Mark Powell, the festival features the best in country music over 2 days! Past artists have included: Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, Kris Kristofferson, Jamey Johnson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Robert Earl Keen, Dwight Yoakam, Lee Ann Womack and many more. This year we expect a sellout event of 30,000 total patrons, 450 RVs, 60 Tailgate Packages and 1,000 VIP patrons.

Different than many other festivals, Outlaws & Legends has several options to fit YOUR brand of experience.  Whether it is: (1)General Admission in front of the stage, (2)at your own private Tailgate with 15-30 of your friends, (3)RVing in the park, or (4)at one of our high-class VIP options including: Skyboxes, VIP Patio Lounges, Lofts, or tables in the upper deck of the Event Center with artists...you can find it here!

Thursday, March 24, 2022                                                                                                                      3:00p.m.-4:30-p.m.   Premium Reserved RV Parking ONLY.  Must have advanced tickets with Premium Passes. 

5:00p.m.-7:00p.m.    4-Day RV Parking ONLY.  (Parking in Section 1).  Must have advanced tickets and 4-Day RV Parking Pass upon entry.

Friday, March 25, 2022                                                                                                                    9:00a.m.-12:00p.m.    3-Day RV Parking and Tailgate Parking ONLY.  (Parking in Section 2).  RV and Tailgate parking will close at 12:00p.m. SHARP!  (No RVs or Tailgates will be admitted after 1:00p.m.  No refunds.  No exceptions!)

1:00p.m.-10:00p.m.    Gates open for General Admission and VIP.

11:00p.m.-12:00a.m.    Exit General Admission and VIP areas.

Saturday, March 26, 2022                                                                                                                            11:00a.m.-8:00a.m.    Back Porch of Texas closed until 8:00a.m. on Saturday.  All gates for General Admission, RV and VIP will be closed and locked between these hours.

8:00a.m.-10:00a.m.    RV gate opens.  RVs are allowed to exit and re-enter.

11:00a.m.-10:00p.m.    Gates open for General Admission and VIP.

11:00p.m.-12:00a.m.    Exit General Admission and VIP areas.

Sunday, March 27, 2022                                                                                                                                              12:00a.m.-12:00p.m.    Exit all areas of The Back Porch of Texas.  All vehicles, RVs, vendors, etc. must be out of the venue by 12:00p.m. (noon).

 

RULES:

All sales are final- NO REFUNDS granted for any manner. THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!  

Gates open at 3:00p.m. on Thursday, March 24th for Pre-Ticketed patrons with Premium Reserved RV Parking Passes and 4-Day RV Passes ONLY!  Attendees must be out of the Back Porch of Texas by 12:00p.m. (noon) on Sunday, March 27th.  Tailgate Party Passes are limited and will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. RV Passes are limited and will be booked with Premium Reserved RV Parking Passes, then 4-Day RV Pass preference and a limit of 300. The first RV Passes at the gate will received preferred parking, closest to entrances!

ALL TICKETS ARE GOOD FOR BOTH NIGHTS!

This is a Bring-Your-Own-Cooler event: $20 per any-sized cooler/anything liquid in a container- strictly enforced. Must pay cooler fee at the gate.

General Admission Parking this year is $10.  No glass, weapons, firearms, drugs- strictly enforced.  

Backporch Productions, LLC, nor Outlaws & Legends Music Festival, nor The Back Porch of Texas, nor Ben Richey Boys Ranch is not liable for anything while on the grounds of The Back Porch of Texas.  All patrons, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff are held 100% liable for injuries, accidents, lost or stolen personal items. 

Artists are subject to change, given health concerns or various 'acts of God', with no ticketing reimbursement to ticket holders.  

A portion of each ticket sold benefits Abilene's non-profit Ben Richey Boys Ranch. More than $500,000 has been raised for Abilene nonprofits over the past three years. Funds raised this year will go towards assisting underprivileged children of the Big Country!

Please note:  NO Solicitation of products or services outside of our confirmed vendors, particularly those containing adult, racist, political, or vulgar content.  If soliciting material is found on premises, a minimum fine of $5,000 will be enforced and collected upon within 30 days.
