NOTE: Every mentee, mentor, staff, and guest must be vaccinated for Covid-19 and wear an N95 mask at all times (indoors and outside) to participate in this face-to-face 100Way Golf activity. Our goal is to keep everyone as safe as possible during the current pandemic.

The 100 Black Men of Prince George's County, Inc. is proud to present the 2022 100Way Golf Program - Sunday Fun Golf. This will be an informal golf clinic open to all 100 Black Men mentees, parents, mentors, parents, patrons, and their family and friends. Please pay your $5 registration fee via Eventbrite and submit your proof of vaccination if you have not already done so to officially register. Anyone with or without golf experience is welcome to register and participate. If you need a set of pre-owned golf clubs, contact 100 Mentor Mike Lanier at (404) 275-0888 or 100 Mentor Al Corbett at (301) 908-9704 immediately so you can be accommodated.

You must be vaccinated to participate in the face-to-face parts of this program. Additional measures like N95 mask mandates are in affect and testing may be required under certain circumstances. Considering the known and unknown risks associated with the Covid-19 Pandemic, the safety of our Mentees, Mentors, Staff and Family must be taken into account foremost.

Vision: Provide exposure, instill life lessons, increase confidence, and promote fitness for our Mentees and Mentors while being introduced positively to the sport of golf.

Golf 101 (Mentees, Mentors and Instructors - $50 Registration Fee)

• Bi-Weekly Six (6) Session virtual introduction to golf and golf theory (April – June) Thursdays @ 7:30 PM - April 7 & 21, May 5 & 19, June 2 & 16
• Two (2) 100Way Golf Boot Camps:

• Group face-to-face Mentoring with a focus on – Stroke Development, Chipping, Putting, Grip, Etiquette, Fitness, Vocational Life Skills, & Fun
• June and July, on Saturday and Sunday
• June 25, 26; and July 30, 31
• Eight Hours Per Day (8am-4pm)
• Each eight-hour session will be broken up into 15-to-60-minute segments
• Example Segments: Instruction, Exercise, Clubs, Physics, Rules, Videos, etc.
• Foundation will be “Five Lessons” by Ben Hogan
• Free set of pre-owned golf clubs for everyone
• Cash play vouchers based upon attendance
