While news outlets have long abandoned the topic of disaster-caused damaged homes, we are still dealing with a hidden crisis. An estimated 1,200+ homes are still untouched, only partially restored, or simply lack the resources to rebuild. Unfortunately, this leaves the families of these homes dealing with less than favorable living conditions. That’s where Katy Responds comes in. We network with churches, business leaders, community minded organizations and individuals committed to community disaster recovery. So far, we’ve repaired more than 130 homes in 36+ months. Now these families can enjoy a safe and secure home.
