2022 Turtle Walk (BHI Conservancy Member Only Event)

Description

Become a BHI Conservancy Member today to participate in this program!

As a special thank you to our members, we invite you to participate in our popular Turtle Walks! Meet at the Conservancy for a brief presentation in our Fleming Classroom about sea turtles and the BHI Conservancy's renowned sea turtle protection program. Following the presentation, guests will accompany Conservancy staff to the beach to wait for word from our Sea Turtle Team about potential nesting or hatching sea turtle activity*. We are granted permission to conduct Turtle Walks through a special state permit that restricts us to a small groups in order to conserve this federally protected species. Due to limited space, Turtle Walks fill up very quickly. Reservations and proof of membership are required for this program.

*We cannot guarantee seeing sea turtles on any specific night.*

Members Only - Passes distributed upon Membership purchase with your access code. Each person attending a walk must have an individual pass and be registered for a spot with your access code. If you sign up for a spot and do not show up, you forfeit those turtle walk passes.

If you are a member and do not have your access code, please email: development@bhic.org

Meet at the Conservancy (700 Federal Rd.). Personal golf cart transportation is required. Bug spray strongly recommended!
