At 7pm on May 3rd 2022, Bold Monk Brewing Co. will host the internationally reknowned artist, Accra Shepp for a discussion of his new book, Radical Justice: Lifting Every Voice. This book integrates two bodies of socially engaged photographic portaiture, one covering New York’s Occupy Wall Street in 2011-2012, and the other, racial justice/BLM protests in 2020. The photographs collected here bear witness to epoch defining social movements in views both incisive and empathetic, which Shepp will elucidate in a talk followed by a Q&A.
