ACDC Rescue needs volunteers! Learn More about becoming a volunteer.

Volunteers help keep the cats happy at the Adoption center by providing food, water, clean cages, scooping litter boxes as well as offering enrichment activities by playing, and petting the cats.  In addition, volunteers assist the public when they have questions or want to visit with an adoptable cat.

Requirements

As a volunteer at the Cat Adoption Center, we require a one shift commitment per week.

Since the adoption center is fully staffed by volunteers 365 days a year, it is imperative that the volunteers are reliable and on time – the cats are dependent upon us for their care. 

Qualifications

Volunteers at the Cat Adoption Centers must be at least 17 years old; volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult at all times. 

ACDC representatives must maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance at all times and conduct themselves in a courteous manner.

All volunteers are required to attend a one hour orientation before being scheduled for a shift.
