Adult (Classic), Initial Equipping Training with Trauma Healing Institute

Description

ABOUT THE SESSION:

This Initial Equipping session contains two parts: participation in an actual healing group with training to follow on how to co- facilitate your own.

Trauma healing facilitators' objective is to "do no harm" and create safe and sacred spaces for those they help. In light of this, in order to be a certified leader of healing groups and possible train others, this initial training begins a 3-step certification process that includes:

1. An evaluation during this initial training that consists of :

* Participant's self -awareness of impact on others, ability to interact well in group dynamics as well as navigate group dynamics.

* Participant's ability to care for self and overall emotional well-being.

* A short test will be given showing your understanding of the content along with a practice facilitation within a small group using a section of a lesson. Feedback will then be shared regarding strengths and suggestions for improvement.

2. After the Initial Equipping, the "Apprentice Facilitator" co-lead 2 healing groups that include 6 core lessons.

3. Attend and demonstrate competencies in an Advanced Equipping Session.
