Course Delivery Format

  • This course will be delivered across 5 consecutive days, each day will be 4.5 hours in duration.
  • Please note, we also offer other deliveries of this course in 8-hour durations across 3 consecutive days as an option.

Requirements

  • Three years of agile experience
  • The Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) certification to ensure in-depth knowledge of the DA tool kit and the hundreds of practices and strategies it contains

  • Accept the invitation to the exclusive DAVSC Community of Practice, where you will gain additional resources and support as you start to practice the skills you learned and prepare for certification.
  • After 3 months of membership and practice in the community, you will be eligible to register for the DAVSC exam. The DAVSC exam fee is included in the course tuition.

Aldo Rall is-Co-Founder of Novavi Limited and is an experienced IT practitioner and consultant with a deep background in delivering valuable solutions to customers. He is certified across a range of agile and IT skills, including the Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications; Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC) and DASM/DASM/DAVSC/DAC Instructor. He holds a Master’s degree in Management. Aldo has mastered the practical elements of developing working solutions across a range of titles, assignments, projects, organizations, industries and countries (both in and outside the IT domain). He is versed in engaging stakeholders at the strategic, tactical and operational levels of organizations and understanding the complexity inherent in building and managing modern organizations. Well-developed experience and skills in people management, leadership, continuous improvement, critical thinking, creative problem solving and collaboration. Aldo has experience in techniques, methods, frameworks and practices utilized in testing, business analysis, project management, Agile and people- and process change management to name a few.

Horia Slușanschi is Co-Founder of Novavi Limited and is an experienced Lean and Agile coach.He is a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a PhD in Computer Science .Horia has the following Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications; Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC) and DASM/DASM/DAVSC/DAC Instructor. He mentors in helping numerous organizations transform their thinking, organizational and action habits to achieve better outcomes, all while improving professional and personal satisfaction for everyone involved.

Instructor: Al Shalloway

Al Shalloway is the Founder and CEO of Success Engineering, taking an engineering/scientific approach to success for clients, employees, companies & society. As the creator of the DAVSC course and the FLEX system that powers Disciplined Agile's at scale approach and being a past SPC Trainer & Gold Partner, Al can help any agile at scale program that needs a shot in the arm. Several key insights and methods are missing in most Agile at scale programs that he can assist with in a short term consulting engagement with or without changing the framework/method being used for the adoption. His experience with patterns thinking also enables to assist enterprise architects on overall design issues.

Course Logistics

Video Conferencing: Zoom video conferencing with real-time messaging and content sharing will be used. Class exercises will use a virtual collaboration platform.

Class day will begin at 10:00 am and finish no later than 2:30 pm AEDT (Sydney Time).

Please note - The delivery time will be 6:00 pm EST and finish no later than 10:30 pm EST Time- the day prior to the scheduled date.

We require a minimum number of registrations for this course. If the minimum number is not met, the course will be cancelled. Registrants will be contacted and registrations will be offered to be moved to the next scheduled class or registrant will receive a refund.
