Aperitivo Italian Class - Italian classes

Description

This is an online live class where you’ll practice Italian conversation and play games with other learners while enjoying your cocktail and nibbles.

First of all, make yourself a typical Aperitivo cocktail such as a Spritz, a Rossini, a Bellini, or pour yourself a glass of Prosecco. Otherwise, opt for a non-alcoholic drink.

Second, get ready some nibbles such as green olives, crisps, a bruschetta, a pizza/focaccia slice, or other savoury snacks.

Third, connect to class from your computer/tablet and use earphones/headphones to maximize the experience.

Be ready to describe your own Aperitivo cocktail and nibbles, speak with other learners, and play the Aperitivo Game activities while learning new vocabulary.

What is Aperitivo? A pre-dinner event that natives organize at weekends as well as on weekdays after a day at work. It’s a beloved cultural tradition that sometimes becomes an actual dinner under the name of AperiCena (cena = dinner).

What is the Aperitivo Game? In Italian is called Gioco Aperitivo (Happy Hour Game) and it basically consists of various fun games and quizzes typically organised by entertainers in Italian resorts to make guests socialize and have a good time while enjoying their cocktail by the sea.

Did you know? For most Italians, summer holidays have just ended. August is a very popular month for a week or two away from the city to energise and unwind. Summertime (June- September) is also the best time for frequent Aperitivo events in amazing places, such as by the coast or in the city, in locations such as the Navigli canals in Milan.

So join us and experience the Aperitivo tradition!

You'll be guided by our experienced native teacher Sara who will encourage and help you to throw yourself and speak with other participants.

*Suitable for all levels including total beginners.*A five-minute break "energising moment" will be taken halfway the two-hour class.
