In this painting workshop, professional artist Elena Neigum will instruct you in painting beautiful French Lavender art using impressionistic and realistic styles. All materials will be provided (canvas, paints, brushes, easels, palettes) and you can take your painting home with you! All proceeds from this workshop will be donated to HIAS PA to support their work resettling refugees from Ukraine and other countries in Philadelphia.

Elena Neigum is a university-trained artist from Russia with mixed Ukrainian and Russian heritage. She has lived in Philadelphia since 2019 and loves libraries, teaching art, and helping others.

The workshop will take place on the first floor of Parkway Central Library (Heim Center 131/132).
