During this 8 Hour class, Public Safety staff will define Assertive Leadership and learn how to apply the concepts in their organization. Students will learn how character, communication style, and self-awareness play a role in one’s own leadership and management style. This class will include leadership through sustained operational periods while also developing succession planning for the organization. At the conclusion of the class the students will understand where to go for continued education, knowledge, and development of a network of resources to provide them with guidance and direction during critical events.
