$10 Registration Fee. Pay at door, either cash, Venmo, or PayPal. Online registration guarantees your spot and if you fail to pay at the door, your spot in the tournament will be forfeited.

Check-in begins at 6 pm. Failure to check-in by 6:20 forfeits your spot. Games begin at 6:25 pm.

In person registration will be available given spots are available.

Blitz Tournament --> 5+0 each side, max 10 min per game.

Round Robin --> A win is one point to the winner, a draw is half a point to each player, a loss is 0 points to the loser. Non elimination, and each game is with a different opponent. There will be 7 total rounds. At the end of the rounds, points earned will determine winners. In the event of a tie, the two players will play each other in a series of games with increasingly faster time controls beginning with 3+0 until one player has more points.

Playing an illegal move forfeits the game unless otherwise granted a take-back by your opponent. However, please note that they are not obligated to give you one.

Chess clock is to be hit with the hand you use to move your pieces. Castling is to be done with one hand, touching the king first.

Touch move unless clock move is agreed upon by you and your opponent.

In the event of an illegal move, king capturing is permitted (do not be surprised if someone takes your king).

First place winner receives a $50 cash prize.

Second place winner receives a $30 gift card to The Bier and Cheese Collective.

Third place winner receives a $20 gift card to The Bier and Cheese Collective.
