LA Sanitation and Environment is working with local stakeholders, including City Council District 10, local residents and community-based organizations to develop the Baldwin Vista Green Streets Project to beautify Coliseum Street from Hauser Boulevard to La Brea Avenue and adjacent streets, and capture, reuse, and recycle stormwater runoff from the adjacent neighborhoods.
LA Sanitation and Environment will be seeking funding for the Baldwin Vista Green Streets Project from the County of Los Angeles Safe Clean Water Program. The Safe Clean Water Program provides local, dedicated funding to improve water quality, increase water supply, and provide community enhancements throughout the County while supporting compliance with federal clean water mandates and addressing climate change.
