The Islamic Center of Aurora Colorado invites you to help us feed Coloradans suffering from food insecurity while raising money for Islamic Relief's response to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. The event begins with a short halaqa and Q&A session on Du'ah in Times of Hardship & Ease with Dr. Ali Shehata!

We have two options for you!

1) Volunteer with us as we assemble kits for Project Our Town's Bean Soup Project!

2) Sponsor each meal we package to make a donation to Islamic Relief's Afghanistan Campaign.

How option #2 works. Depending on how many volunteers sign up we expect to purchase and package enough food for around 800 to 1,600 meals! We are seeking sponsors at just 10 cents a meal. That means a sponsor could donate between $40, $80 and up to $160 to Afghanistan Relief. We will collect all the sponsor's pledges and make one donation to help provide relief to one of the worst human tragedies happening anywhere on the globe right now.
