Are you interested in going for a gravel adventure in Gypsum, CO?

We will be doing a recon of the first third of the long course including the infamous Red Hill Road climb. A great opportunity to confirm your equipment choice including tire size and GEARING. You will leave with the insider knowledge to make sure you get the jump on all your friends you’re racing against on June 26.

TWO ROUTE OPTIONS

LONG RIDE: It is the start of the Ram’s Horn Escape 85 mile route. It will include the Red Hill climb and riders should plan for just under 50 miles and about 4500 ft of climbing. The last 17miles is all down hill back to the Gypsum Mountain Rec Center. We will be going at a casual pace with some re-grouping opportunities along the way.

We recommend a minimum of 38mm tires for this ride.

SHORT RIDE: It’s the start of the Little Bighorn 50 mile route. Riders should plan on about 35 miles and about 2800 ft of climbing. The last 17 miles is all down hill back to the Gypsum Mountain Rec Center. We will be going at a casual pace with some re-grouping opportunities along the way.

We recommend a minimum tire width of 38mm tires for this ride.
