This meetup is focused on explaining bitcoin to beginners and people just starting their bitcoin journey. The presentation will answer questions such as: What is Bitcoin? What is the blockchain? How is bitcoin different from other cryptocurrencies? How do you buy bitcoin? How should you custody bitcoin? Why does bitcoin have value? What does it mean when one says bitcoin is decentralized? Peer-to-Peer? Immutable? Unconfiscatable? We'll answer all of these questions and more!

In addition, each Bitcoin for Beginners meetup includes a 30 minute special topic discussion whose topic changes from month to month. This month the special topic discussion is: Bitcoin is Unique: What is the difference between Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?
