Blacks in Classics Museum

Description

The Blacks in Classics museum opens every Saturday from 11AM-4PM, and every Sunday from 1PM-4PM, June 18th from 7 pm to 10 pm. The main purpose of the museum is to define the Black Intellectual Tradition, where the story of Black people in America, is told through their engagement with the works of the Western Canon, from ancient times and beyond. The museum will give a unique perspective on classical studies' role in Black and American history by looking at key figures in Black Liberation movements.

An amazing way to learn more about Black history.
