Blessing Weekend with Nourish

Description

Join Saint Roch (Art) Farm and Nourish UU for a ritual of community, food and justice as we bless this first season of the Farm. We will gather to connect, reflect, and nourish ourselves and each other for the ongoing work of memory, imagination and right relationship. Our gathering on Saturday from 11:00AM-7:00PM will include a short worship service and dinner…. Come embody the world that we know can be and are working to create.

Nourish UU was created by Rev. Aisha Ansano and Rev. Emily Conger to help Unitarian Universalists feel fed in body and spirit through embodied worship experiences. We lead participatory dinner church worship services for congregations and other communities, and offer consultations on how to incorporate embodied worship practices into your community. Our Nourishing Network is an experiential learning community where we dream about the future of our faith, experience embodied worship, and experiment with new ways of gathering and learning together

Options for weekend camping are available. Friends can arrive as early as Friday at 6pm and will depart no later than 11am on Sunday. Food and additional workshops will be provided for people who choose to stay for the weekend. Friends must bring their own tent and other camping gear.
