With support from SocialWorks, the Chicago Learning Exchange (CLX), Northwestern University, and Digital Youth Network (DYN), the annual award honors and recognizes an outstanding out-of-school time “connected mentor” with $5,000 no-strings-attached financial support.

The Brother Mike Awards ceremony, held at the Harold Washington Library Center, will feature performances by Brittney Carter, DJ Scendsei and spoken word artist Chima "Naira" Ikoro. With a very special appearance by SocialWorks founder, Chance the Rapper!

This event is open to the public and is sponsored by Northwestern University.
