Do you like battlebots? if you do, you'll want to take this course. In this course, you'll have fun building LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots. You'll learn how different sensors, motors and gears work to make robots come to life. You'll learn how to program these robots to perform tasks such as traveling in straight lines, curved lines, following the edge of the line and so much more. You'll get to participate in an epic battlebots challenge with a robot you built! As part of this camp, you will learn everything you need to know to design and 3D print your own creations! You'll learn TinkerCAD, an awesome 3D modeling program that will let you design just about anything. You won't just get to design, we'll print out your favorite creation for you to take home!

Camp Outcomes: At the end of the week, each camper will have a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot built! They will have an understanding of how motors, sensors and gears work together to make the robot come alive. They will learn important engineering concepts through robotics as well as problem solving, critical thinking and team work. They will have learned 3D modeling, XYZ coordinates and they will get a printed design to take home!
