This is a mandatory training course for Officers within Housing Services at London Borough of Hackney.

This training is designed to give you an understanding of the Building Safeguarding Policy and how your role as a member of the Housing Services team can have a positive impact on improving fire safety for Hackney residents.

Through this course, you will gain an understanding of the new Building Safety Act as well as learning how your actions can contribute to improving residents safety and help the council with meeting its obligations under the new Act. The training will offer you an insight into basic aspects of fire safety and expand your health and safety awareness in order to aid your ability to identify possible hazards within our residential blocks.
