Description

CLVR US event production and management guru Miles Kondylas brings Business of Art Café attendees insight on the benefits of promotion, 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 10 at NUNU Arts and Culture Collective.

A native of Baltimore, Md., Kondylas and his wife, Sylvia, now residents of Arnaudville and members of NUNU collective, operate and manage CLVR US, an events production and management service that specializes in EDM (electronic dance music), fashion and art events. "I will be talking about promotions, target audience, metrics, and branding yourself, your services, or your products," Kondylas explains. "I have been involved with promotions and production management for radio and live events since 1997. Working with clients like MLB.com, Special Olympics Polar Plunge, as well as local Art Communities such as The Goat Farm in Atlanta, Ga, I have seen how to construct targeted promotions at any scale."

The Business of Art Café is a NUNU collective member only professional development workshop. If you are not a member of NUNU collective, and wish to become one, you can do so in person or online at nunucollective.org. Members planning to attend should reserve a seat via this free Eventbrite ticket listing.

The Work for Art Café series utilizes the "Springboard for the Arts" workbook "Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists toolkit." Along with Promtions, the series includes presentations on: Marketing, Pricing, Record Keeping, Legal Considerations, Funding, Grant Writing, Business Plan Essentials and Engaging Customers and Selling Your Work.
