This workshop is available to those who live in the Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Isle of Wight areas and who are 18 years old and older. It will be held online via Zoom.

To gain information and advice about careers in the Civil Service and the National Careers Service support available. We will explore the following:

• Introduction to the Civil Service and how to apply for advertised roles

• Understand the application process and how to complete it

• Understanding transferable skills and how to utilise them

• Identify strengths / Success profiles

• Understand and work on STAR - competency based questions

• Discuss the assessment and what to expect

• Understand the next steps

• Understand what a virtual interview is and the process

Prior to attending the workshop, a personal information form will be sent to complete by email. Once we receive this back the Zoom invitation link will be emailed to you 1 working day before the workshop.

All settings for the Zoom call are set up so that only the host can be seen via camera.
