Join the Character Design Class!

If your student creates their own characters and stories, Young Art’s Character Design Club will give them the tools and techniques to bring their concepts to the next level! Our instructors will take your students through different stages of character development, exploring options and encouraging student input to strengthen and support their unique vision for their original characters while showcasing techniques in shading, color, and form to increase their overall aesthetic skills.

Learn how to create interesting and visually appealing original characters with the guidance and feedback of a skilled instructor.

Students will further develop their own unique style using the fundamentals of strong character design, such as shapes, silhouette, asymmetry, color, and more in this interactive drawing club.

Sample topics may include but not limited to building characters from basic shapes, drawing characters showing personality and expression, experimenting with proportions and characters in motion and Creating 3D figures and comic stories.

Classes are highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas in a fun and upbeat environment.

Classes are held live at the Young Art studio in the Westfield Valley Fair Mall located at 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050.

Rules for joining the class:

• Student(s) must not have experienced COVID-19 symptoms in the past 48 hours
• Please wear a mask

• 1 Ticket per child per session
• Each session is for 60 minutes of in-person art lesson.
• Current county safety guidelines will be followed during camp
