Casa Del Herrero Docent-Led Tours

Description

Tours at Casa del Herrero

Casa del Herrero offers docent-led tours to the public with advance reservations. Docent-led tours are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. throughout the year.

Upon arrival, visitors are transported back to Casa del Herrero's heyday in the 1920s and 1930s. The knowledgeable volunteer docents share thoughtful stories about the historic estate's Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, fine and decorative arts collection, silversmithing workshop, and beautifully maintained Moorish-style gardens. The 90-minute tour experience begins in the estate's courtyard; guests will enter through the front door and stroll through the home’s magnificently preserved interior spaces. The tour will transition outdoors through the gardens, and will conclude in George Fox Steedman's marvelously preserved silversmithing workshop.

Admission is $25 per person, for adults and children ages 10 and above. Tour tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment is due at the time of reservation.
