For OKLAHOMA Attendees:

This training has been reviewed and approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers Provider Number #20210014

As a Live Webinar, this seminar will serve as Category 1 credit for all LCSWs in Oklahoma.

Due to the ongoing consequences of the national COVID-19 pandemic, on June 11, 2021, the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health approved an additional stay of enforcement for all face-to-face CEU requirements, including Ethics and Supervision. All technology assisted CEU’s accrued between May 11, 2021 and December 31, 2021 may count towards the face-to-face renewal requirements, including ethics and supervision, for all current licensure periods, including all in-person and webinar presentations offered by The Grief Center.

For TEXAS Attendees:

Effective 9/1/20, the rules related to CEU providers are repealed. The state won’t be certifying CEU providers for Social Workers, LPCs, or LMFTs anymore. Each license holder is now responsible for individually determining whether the CEU workshop is appropriate for your required continuing education. The Texas Administrative Code does offer some guidelines for this. They all require that CEU providers take attendance, be qualified and teach on appropriate/relevant content, use an evaluation instrument, and keep records for a few years, requirements which The Grief Center CE Presentations meet.

For ARKANSAS Attendees:

The Board does not pre-approve continuing education workshops. It is the licensee's responsibility, using his/her professional judgement, to determine the workshops that are applicable and appropriate to his/her professional development as a social worker and that they meet the definition of SWCE.
