Ciders & Sides with Truffle Cheese Shop

Description

Can't stop won't stop 🤩 We're making this the cheesiest month yet with Truffle Cheese Shop!

This month we are bringing you tastes from the ends of the spectrum - a little spice and a little sweet. All on one plate to give you a flavor experience like no other. Are you more sweet than spicy? Or maybe equal amounts of both?

Banjo Manhattan Cider (Banjo To-Go) // Cyprien Affine a la Liqueur de Noix: Walnut liquor gives this supple French cow's milk cheese a gorgeously nutty dark brown rind. Its ivory paste is mellow and smooth with a delicate nuttiness from the liquor shining through. Master affinuer Rodolphe Le Meunière brings us this amazing cheese perfect for dessert with your sweetie. This beauty of a cheese is almost as handsome as the cheese maker…seriously, look him up!

Paloma Cider // Brigante Piccante: A fanciful version of one of our favorite cheeses, it’s time to get a little spicy! The paste is fresh and delicate, punctuated by tiny, fragrant small pieces of chilli pepper. It is a young cheese, which matures in 20-25 days, produced only with whole sheep milk of Sardinian pastures. It has a light yellow, striped rind, treated on the surface with a preservative that protects it from mould. The paste is cream-coloured with the small red points of the chilli pepper and slight holes.

Rosé Cider // Adarre: Another sweet cheese from that handsome devil Rodolphe Le Meuniere. Take a bite and travel to the French countryside. Named for the serene mountains that line the border between France and Spain, this creamy blend of sheep and goat's milk is as unique as it is tasty. Aged for seven months, each wheel develops a roasted walnut flavor with a buttery caramel note and a subtle trace of stone fruit.

Crabby Neighbor Cider (Raspberry Cider) // Peppadew stuffed with fresh chevre and topped with Italian seasoning- “Peppadew” is the brand name of piquanté peppers grown in the Limpopo province of South Africa that have been pickled and sweetened. As the story goes, a farmer discovered the tiny pepper in South Africa in the 1990s and put it on the market. He described it as “peppery” but “sweet as the dew,” hence the name. We have tamed the spiciness with smooth and creamy fresh chevre (goat milk from Spain) and added some Italian herbs. South Africa, Spain and Italy combine for one gorgeous little treat!

Try the chocolate and dried strawberries with each cheese, proof that even the spiciest little bite can become sweet. And the Sweety Drops (Peruvian Pearl peppers) will make your taste buds soar - trust us and just enjoy their sweetness as they pop in you mouth!
