The purpose of the courses for the attendee to learn what are the policies and procedures regarding Client Rights, consumer abuse, neglect and exploitation.

  • Understand what is the difference between complaint and grievance.
  • Understand policies regarding client rights
  • Understand policies regarding service animals.
  • Discuss Class I , Class II and Class III abuse.
  • Understand what neglect and exploitation is and how to avoid it.
  • Discuss appropriate reporting.
  • Have full competency of who the client rights officer is and how to contact him/her.
