Coding Club: K-2nd Grade Students at the Coding Connector

Description

What is Coding Club

Parents and students both want to know what's next when learning and exploring coding for the first time. Coding Club provides 12 weekly sessions to learn more about a variety of coding topics and practices like programming, robotics, game design, and more.

For a one-time fee, students will gain access to the Coding Club for the entire semester and receive a t-shirt to wear on Thursdays when the Club is in session!

What Students Learn

Coding Club is more exploratory than our individual classes as students are given more space to ask questions and try new things. The first 9 sessions provide more structure as we dive into specific skills or topics, and the final 3 sessions allow students to adopt Passion Projects to work on and build a creative outcome on their own!

What Parents Gain

We all want our kids to find their passion or engage in activities that stimulate their love of learning. Parents will see their children learn problem solving techniques, a drive to try something new, and gain knowledge about coding and technology that can assist them in the future.

Schedule

We'll meet weekly on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. during the semester.

Our 12 sessions will run from August 18 to November 10 with a short fall break based on local school schedules.
