Joanne Warren, Founder of CCA of WNYI have over 25 years experience working in higher education and workforce development, most recently as an Academic Dean at Erie Community College. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, backgrounds and in all phases of their educational journey. As the Director of an academic services department I worked on transitioning high school students into post-secondary programs. My work has also allowed me to work with members of the business community in a variety of ways. My work with the Buffalo Employment and Training Center focused on helping adults through career transitions. I will share the knowledge I have gained about career development theory, the job market, college admissions, general education requirements, course advisement, and college transfer pathways.
