What is the Colorado Art Salon?

It's a free, recurring monthly event in Colorado Springs. The Colorado Art Salon includes three parts: a Professional Development section, a Working Artist section, and Collaboration Time. Our goal is to provide an encouraging space for artists to learn and grow with each other. We're creating events to foster collaboration and grow the community for every artist.

Since this is our first event, we will be looking forward to your feedback, to better understand the kinds of events, topics, and platforms you desire.

Working Artist Presenter: Karen Mosbacher

Karen Mosbacher is gallery artist that interprets music into paintings. She will be presenting her work and discussing how it relates to sensory experience, synesthesia, and gesture. You can see her work at G44 Gallery in Colorado Springs.

Professional Development Presenter: Rodney Gullatte, Jr.

Rodney Gullate, Jr. is CEO of Firma IT Solutions, and is a Certified Ethical Hacker. He will be presenting on cybersecurity and loss prevention.

Meet & Greet & Collaborate

Come prepared to meet other artists and talk about your projects. If you are looking for collaborators, there will be white boards for listing projects and finding conspirators. You many want to show your work on your phone and/or have business cards ready.

Refreshments will be served. And don't forget to provide your feedback!
