Meet us in the Los Angeles State Historic Park on Thursday afternoons to get your hands dirty and learn how to craft seed pods (vessels for holding seed) with clay refined from our site at Metabolic Studio. Each week we will have enough material to make 10 seed pods, this will be on a first come first serve basis. There will be an opportunity to sign up for the following week(s) if you were not able to secure a spot.

Our summer season will conclude with a corn harvest and community seed pod firing at the Metabolic Studio. The community members who choose to participate will receive historic Not A Cornfield corn to take home with their handmade seed pod after it has been fired. The closing event will be on/near Fall Equinox (Sept. 21), more details to come.
