Creative Academy Application

Description

RAIL CDC's Creative Academy is a 10-week program where creatives will work alongside one another in business-focused workshops to enhance their skills and knowledge around what it means to work in the Creative Economy. Artists, makers, and creatives are encouraged to apply and learn about topics ranging from business plans and budgeting, to marketing and diversified skillsets. All program participants will have access to one on one coaching, networking opportunities, other programming and specialized consultants upon graduating from the Creative Academy. Graduates will also be eligible to apply for project grants of up to $1000 at the conclusion of the program for installation in 2023. Please submit your application by September 7th, Wednesday, 11:59 PM.

- This program is covered by scholarships underwritten by LISC Phoenix (Thank you LISC!!), with no cost to participants.

- There are limited spots, and all applications will be reviewed by a panel of RAIL staff and consultants.

- Participants are expected to engage in ALL 10 sessions.

- All sessions will take place online, so online access is a requirement.

- Preference will be given to applicants working or residing in RAIL CDC's focus areas (the Broadway Corridor in Mesa, and Apache Boulevard in Tempe).

- The program will take place on Saturday mornings for 2-3 hour online workshops, details to be communicated upon acceptance into the program.
