Ben Robbins - Mental Fitness Workshop

There is a general understanding that physical exercise helps us to become physically fit. But how do we develop mental fitness? What can we do to become mentally fitter, to better handle the challenges of a complex and ever changing world?

In this session, Ben will discuss the concept of Mental Fitness and teach practical psychological tools to help become mentally fitter. He will discuss the strategies used by St Kilda players and staff to manage high pressure situations, perform to their potential and protect their mental health. Drawing on his own AFL playing and working experience, as well as the latest scientific research, Ben delivers an engaging and practical workshop designed for anyone interested in positively supporting their wellbeing and improving their performance, regardless of the field of endeavour.

Anyone who would love to gain an insight into the strategies adopted by the STKFC players in pressure situations AND would also be interested in some strategies to positively support their own wellbeing and improving their performance in school, study, sport, work or life in general
