EkamUSA is a non-profit organization registered under 501(c)(3), focused on providing healthcare to children in need by partnering with well-established hospitals. EkamUSA aids these hospitals by supplementing the infrastructure, professional help, and medical support they need in order to accommodate all patients. Our EkamUSA model has been very successful in significantly reducing the mortality rate in infants and mothers in government-funded hospitals by providing proper and affordable healthcare.

Our goal is to support the following initiatives with the funds raised by the 5K Run

1. Livelihood opportunities for daily laborers out of jobs due to COVID

2. Kitchen Gardens for Maternal and Child Care wellbeing of children and mothers and thereby contribute to a reduction in infant, childhood, adolescent, and maternal mortality rates

3. Medical equipment for local hospitals & village health centers

4. Emergency nutrition kits made up of nonperishable food items to families in the lowest socioeconomic strata
