The Employee Resource Group has three Strategies: Community, Development, & Advocacy. Come discuss, socialize, and enjoy refreshments from Great Lakes Distillery & Twisted Plants.
- The goal of our Strategies is to create spaces for Black, Hispanic, and Latino teachers.
- Teachers within these spaces will share experiences, exchange ideas, and advocate for our city's intentional and systematic recruitment and retention of Black, Hispanic, and Latino teachers.
- Activities support goals based on each Strategy, and are selected by members to inform talent management practices (recruitment/retention of diverse employees); create culturally sensitive strategies, support, and resources; and build an inclusive and engaged workforce.
This citywide, all-sector teacher Employee Resource Group is teacher-led and supported by City Forward Collective's Manager of Teacher Talent & Special Initiatives.
