Fall Cookie Decorating Class--Apples! Sat. Sept. 17th 10 am- 12 pm

Description

You will practice basic piping and flooding techniques and will walk away with these 6 beautifully decorated cookies. You don't need any experience working with sugar cookies in the past! All supplies will be provided.

I’m keeping this class size small and intimate to allow for adequate spacing and lots of personal attention which means tickets may sell out sooner. I have will only have 8 spots available for each class. Classes take place at my home in downtown Naperville. You will receive an email a few days before your class with my address and all of the details.

Once your order is processed you will receive a confirmation along with the address and directions to the class (participants must be able to walk up 4 steps).

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON SAT 9/3 or when filled—Sign up today!

I am excited to be a part of the 6B’s Teaching Partner program. Designs and photo were created by 6B’s Creations. Cookies may vary slightly.

More details on refunds & FAQ’s below:

Now for the fine print……ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. In the event you cannot attend class, tickets are transferable to another student but tickets are nonrefundable. If you cannot find someone to take your place, please email me with at least 24 hour notice as I may have a waiting list. However, this does not guarantee I can find a replacement for you. Please let me know if you transfer your ticket to a friend so I can update the attendee list. I reserve the right to cancel this class due to illness or low enrollment in which case you will be offered a full refund.

***Additional COVID details: As I write this, masks will NOT be required for this class. If cases increase closer to the class date I may change this and will contact you via email (refunds will be offered, if needed.) Please feel free to wear a mask, if you are comfortable doing so.

No food or drink allowed.

I will have an air purifier running the room and will open windows for ventilation weather permitting.

Thank you for understanding!

FAQ—lots of good stuff here:

CAN I PURCHASE A TAKE HOME KIT? Yes! That way you can practice & strengthen what you’ve learned and/or pass it on! Invite friends over & have a cookie party! Contact me if you’re interested in purchasing extra take home kits.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Nothing! You may consider bringing an apron or wearing clothing that can be washed if you’re messy like me!

CAN I REGISTER MY CHILD? Yes! If they are 12 years old and are comfortable working independently.

IT’S JUST ME—CAN I REGISTER ALONE? or I HAVE A GROUP—CAN WE ALL ATTEND? Yes and yes! Flying solo? This is a great way to learn something new, relax and talk to others with similar interests. Got a group? Let me know ahead of time and I’ll make sure you can sit together. I can also do private group classes for 6-10.

WHAT IF I REGISTERED BUT CAN’T ATTEND? You can cancel with a full refund 10 days prior to the class. You can also transfer a class to a friend (give me a heads up so I can welcome them!). I’ll start prepping for you the day you register so last minute cancellations mean a lot of unpaid time on my end. One note—if you let me know before class I can hold your kit for you to try at home (and I’ll include a free link to an online mini-class.) Please read more regarding COVID cancellations.

WHAT IF I’M NOT FEELING WELL AND IT’S TOO LATE TO CANCEL? I appreciate you being honest and am sorry you’re not feeling well! Please stay home and rest. If you email me before class, I can hold your kit for you and include a link to a free online mini-class. If you prefer a full cancellation, I can do that—I want you feeling better as quickly as you can be!

IF YOU ARE A NO-SHOW AND DO NOT EMAIL ME BEFORE CLASS there will be no refund or possibly no extra kit regardless of whether you are sick. Please contact me before class if you are feeling poorly.

ALLERGENS/PRODUCTION? I am a registered cottage food producer with food production manager certification. My cookies are produced in a home kitchen not inspected by a health department that may also process common food allergens. If you have safety concerns, contact your local health department. The ingredients in these cookies include eggs, butter, flour (wheat), corn starch, and artificial food coloring.
