Educational Farm Experience - sustainable and regenerative 50 acre homestead

Let us share with you our story of adventure and learning as non-farming "City Folks" who came to the country 12 years ago with a vision for a different life!

Connect with friendly farm animals up-close and immerse yourself into a unique & memorable experience for ALL ages!

Includes a trek into the woodlands and boardwalk to explore, a Scavenger Hunt, campfire & hotdog roast, and enjoy playing at the Woodland Adventure Playground.

You MUST book a "Group Pass" - there are two options

Large Group Pass - $85 (2 adults and 2 or more children from same family)

Small Group Pass - $60 (2 adults and only 1 child)

IF you want to bring extra adults or children from a different family, please purchase an Additional Adult ($20)or Additional Child ($10) ticket

Children MUST be accompanied by at least one adult.

BOOK your personalized "Barn Tour" (available between 10AM - 4PM) and stay afterwards to explore the woodland trails, the Froggie Boggie Boardwalk and enjoy a relaxing campfire afterwards.

What will you do?

1. Arrive & get ready to meet our friendly dairy goats at our old-fashioned Milking Parlour :

-Greet all the dairy goat mamas and their new babies

-ask questions & learn a bit about how we care for, feed, and hand-milk our goats

-Romp and play with the goats at their outdoor goat playground

-meet the alpaca mamas and discover the secret ingredient for happy gardening!

2. Join us on a walk around the different pastures, permaculture gardens, orchard and alfalfa fields

-Meet our sweet mini ponies, Sapphire, Chickadee & Star

-see our alpaca boys and billy goats up close

-feed treats to the farm pigs

3. Using your Farm and Forest Map, explore the Carolinian Woodlands and learn the importance of native trees to this area

-trails include a 1 km walk with ravines, landmarks and boardwalk

-Pass along the Blue Heron Lagoon while you search for items in the Scavenger Hunt

-Reach the Woodland Adventure Playground (children on climbing items and swings only please)

-Explore the Carolinian Forest Trails briefly as you walk along the Froggie Boggie Boardwalk

-Enjoy a relaxing campfire for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs at the woodlands

*This part of your visit will not be guided, so please use your map & follow the areas indicated.

DURATION : 2-2.5 hours

Your "Barn Tour" will take about 50-60 minutes. Afterwards, you will have 60 minutes to explore and enjoy your Scavenger Hunt & Farm Trek. The campfire(s) will keep going at various locations the entire day for warm up and roast your snacks.

SNACKS FOR ANIMALS - if you are interested in bringing snacks for the animals, here is a list of foods to consider :

apples - cores & peels

carrots & peels

other fruit & veggie scraps (similar to compost items; over-rippened is just fine)

ALL snacks must be cut into bite-sized pieces & must be fed on the ground (no hand-feeding without supervision). Please have your snacks checked by one of our helpers BEFORE you give it to the animals.

A working farm has inherent dangers associated with it, and you must follow the rules and guidelines we have in place. You are NOT permitted to touch, sit on or play on ANY equipment. There are several ponds on site; children MUST remain with adults at ALL TIMES.

ALL EVENTS HAVE BEEN SET-UP WITH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS & SUPERVISORS IN PLACE, HOWEVER, IN PURCHASING YOUR TICKETS, YOU ARE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL YOUR GUESTS AND THEIR BEHAVIOUR. We expect all our guests to treat our property, animals and other guests with respect and courtesy.
