About the speaker:

Tamás Petrovics is Co-Founder & CEO of the healthtech start-up XUND. Born in Hungary, he has now been living in Vienna for more than 20 years. He gained several years of international consulting experience at Brunswick Group and McKinsey & Company after graduating from WU Vienna.

Tamás left consulting and founded XUND together with his longtime friends Lukas Seper and Dr. Zoltán Tarabó back in 2018. Tamás’ vision is to improve the access to healthcare by putting people first. With XUND, he enables healthcare companies to build their own digital patient journey and transform unstructured data collected from the patient into actionable insights. The company’s flagship product is an AI-powered Medical API that provides symptom and risk assessment capabilities to help navigate patients to the best point of care. The underlying database is powered by the automated analysis of more than 2 million medical publications through proprietary NLP solutions. The technology is certified as a Class IIa medical device under MDR and is used by market-leading insurance, pharmaceutical & big tech companies in a licensing model. Besides the Vienna headquarters, the start-up also runs an office in Budapest and currently employs more than 35 people.
