Forage & Plant Walk

Description

Hosted by Brown People Foundation

The #BPFForagers and #ForageFam are back for July!!! As we stroll/discover/honor/share amongst the plants & trees, come learn how to spot common local edible & medicinal plants - and about their uses!

We will gather at the Field House, located on the corner of

Garfield & King Drive.

😷☝🏾Yes #WeOutside but please be mindful of yourself and others. #MaskUp & keep that #6Feet babes.

πŸ–€ Wear comfy shoes and bring water & a snack!

πŸ–€ A journal, bug spray, and sunscreen are helpful suggestions as well.

πŸ–€πŸŒˆ BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color) to the front! TGNC (Trans & Gender Non-Conforming) folks to the front! Earth stewardship is our birthright and Ancestral responsibility. These walks are curated with that in mind, and to facilitate organic (pun intended) community. Non-Black & cis het participants consider making a fiscal donation to support the community initiatives we develop for our most impacted & marginalized folks. $brownpeopleorg
