FREE Improv Class: Online Drop-in

Description

*** Please note:

We just noticed that Eventbrite sent out an email to every person that has ever signed up for this class when it was meant to go out ONLY to those of you that signed up for the class on 4/15/2022.

We have made Eventbrite aware of the glitch. Thanks for understanding and we hope to see you at a Moment event very soon. =)

Welcome to Moment Improv Online!

This is an entry-level drop in improv course open to everyone, accomplished improvisers and beginners alike!

No prior experience necessary! This is Moment's FREE one hour mental health break! Great for anyone that is craving human connection and wants to try a taste of improv online. Find connection and play games with people from all over in a safe and facilitated environment. Join us for some fun as we "bookend" your week with improv fun online!

Although this is a 100% FREE class, if you are able and wish to contribute a donation to this small business theatre company, there is a donation ticket available below. Thanks for any help you feel you can provide.

*** PLEASE NOTE***

In order to accommodate the largest drop-in group possible, there will no longer be a limit on how many signups are allowed for the Free Friday Drop-In. To keep class size manageable, however, the number of students admitted for the class will be limited. Classroom "doors" will open at 5:25 PM, and the first 10 students to arrive will be admitted regardless of donation status.

By claiming this ticket, I understand that if I am not one of the first 10 students to arrive for the drop-in, I will have to wait for the next week's drop-in.

So what is improv?

Improv is like when you were a kid during recess and you played make-believe adventures with your friends. Improv classes help you remember how to do that again.

So why improv online?

Humans are social creatures. In under a 3-week time span we all went from a place of connection, to a place of isolation. Many of us may feel trapped in our homes, we may feel lonely, we may be craving that artistic release that was taken from us so quickly. We are doing online improv classes because now, more than ever it feels, the world needs to feel connected. Even before the Covid-19 action happened, improv has brought connection to people. Improv can still provide connection and that much needed artistic space to create. Get lost in the moment with us online, make new friends, and let your imagination lead the way!
