September is National Prostate Awareness Month. Garnet Health is holding this free prostate screening event from Tuesday, September 27 - Friday, September 30, to promote awareness, the importance of prostate health and how screenings and early detection can save lives.

The prostate screening program is for men who meet the following criteria:

• Have not been under the care of a urologist in the past 5 years
• Have no personal history of prostate cancer
• Are between the ages of 40 and 75
