TTBA很榮幸地邀請到Enrique Lin-Shiao(林家樂)博士,來分享他的科學之旅:從諾貝爾科學至實現臨床商業化。

林家樂博士曾在諾貝爾獎得主實驗室(Dr. Jennifer Doudna)擔任博士後研究助理,專注於研究免疫療法、表觀遺傳學及基因組編輯,而現就職於BridgeBio Pharma公司的資產管理部,致力於開發及評估實驗室中癌症和罕見疾病的新療法與將其轉移至臨床商業化的可行性。

身為臺裔移民第二代,林家樂博士求學經歷豐富,十八歲獲得德國政府獎學金至慕尼黑工業大學取得工程物理的大學學位,後至劍橋大學研究生物物理學一年,接著於賓州大學Dr. Shelley Berger實驗室完成生物化學暨分子生物物理學博士學位。

Enrique Lin-Shiao (林家樂) is an Associate in Asset Acquisition at BridgeBio Pharma, where he focuses on finding and evaluating novel therapies for rare diseases and cancer, as well as creating paths to move those therapies from the bench to the clinic. Enrique is the son of Taiwanese immigrants, he was born and raised in Costa Rica until he turned 18, and a scholarship from the German government allowed him to study Engineering Physics at the Technische Universität München. He then pursued research in biophysics at the University of Cambridge, followed by a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania in the lab of Dr. Shelley Berger and a postdoc in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Dr. Jennifer Doudna at UC Berkeley. His research has focused on immunotherapy, epigenetics and genome editing.
