Please register to attend the free Jamaica Coalition Against Domestic Violence (JCADV) workshop that will educate and empower participants to:

1) recognize the dynamics of Gender-based Violence (GBV) and Domestic Violence (DV)

2) understand the complex impact of GBV and DV on individuals, families, and the community, and

3) learn how to advocate and safely respond.

This training is scheduled for the following date and time below. Please if you are registered to attend, your full participation is necessary to successfully complete this training. The available time is

Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (EST Jamaica Time).

Upon completion of the 3 hours of Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence education, participants will receive a JCADV Certificate of Completion for those hours.

People of all gender who are 16+ are encouraged to participate!

The training is online only and involves live speakers, Q&A, breakout group work, full participation is required.

For JCADV members, this training is required in order to volunteer as a JCADV domestic violence hotline advocate (100% fully remote). Additionally, this training opens up opportunities in other areas of advocacy.
