Register here on Eventbrite for a fun-filled weekend of events. Please register as soon as possible if you plan to attend one or all events. We need to finalize details and payments with our Globe-Miami business owners looking forward to supporting the “Class with Class.”
After you register, make your payment of only $75.00 per person through Zelle®, Venmo®, or PayPal®.
If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, or cannot pay by the registration due date, please email us at ghstigers82@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to find a solution.

If you are in town and want to meet up, let us know and we'll secure a location for members of the Class of '82 who are looking to make an early connection with our classmates.

Friday, October 28th
5 pm: Globe-Miami Pre-Game Mixer ~ No Host
Let's go Tigers!!! Join us at 5 pm at Kari's Copper Cantina, 999 N. Broad Street (the old El Rey) in Globe to pre-game before the Globe-Miami football game.
Bring your Tiger pride and wallets to this no-host event to pre-game with us! If you can't make it to Kari's, La Casita downtown will be on the lookout for our class members looking to descend for some pre-game festivities. Or check out the Globe-Miami Elks Lodge #489 (1775 East Maple) for their traditional Friday night feast which is open to the public.
Friday, October 28th
7 pm: Globe vs. Miami Football Game ~ No Host
Time to bring home the Copper Kettle! Be there to support our Globe High 2022 Varsity team as they close out their season against our arch-rival Miami Vandals.
Kick-off is at 7 pm, Harbison Field, 1270 E. Cedar Street, Globe. Tickets $5 for adults, $3 for students 5-18.
A group of us will be arriving early to hold a section of the bleachers for the Class of ‘82. Keep connected on social media and text to find us. Please note not everyone will be seated in the bleachers, some may be under them…

9:30 pm: Globe-Miami Post-Game Mixer ~ No Host
We hope to be celebrating the return of The Copper Kettle to GHS after the game but even if we are sure that the class will want to get together after the game. Suggested is TBD. Recommendations are welcome.
Saturday, October 29th
11 am: Tour of Globe High School
Do you remember where your lockers were?
Classmates wishing to see our old stomping grounds will meet at 11 am at the high school steps for a guided tour of the high school with hopes of seeing the Copper Kettle back in its rightful place!
Let us know if you are attending and no ditching!! We are planning a group photo on the steps after the tour.
Saturday, October 29th
5:30 pm: Saturday Ghosts of Globe Tour ~ No Host
The Ghost Tour organizers have graciously offered an early mini tour for our group of the jail, Train Depot, and other areas downtown and then back along the railroad tracks to the event.
Please let us know if you are attending so we can coordinate with the organizers to get the discounted cost of $10 per person.
Saturday, October 29th
6 pm – 11 pm: 40th Class Reunion Main Event at the old Globe Café, 396 N Broad Street, Globe
We are excited to host an evening of friendship, memories, food, and fun. Cocktail hours will begin at 6 pm, followed by dinner at 7 pm. G City DJ will be dropping some rad 80’s beats from 8-10:30 pm.
Five hours just doesn’t seem enough time to catch up after 10, 20, or 40 years, but sadly the event must end by 11 pm. Don’t worry though, our venue downtown is within walking distance to the Drift Inn (the cool kids now call it The Drift), Farley’s, and the Huddle.
Please note that registration and payment are required to attend this event. You must check in at the door to get your event tickets for beverages and food. No specific attire is required, all we ask is that you wear what makes you most comfortable!

Please party responsibly and have a designated driver. Ride shares are not available in Globe, but you can contact Troy Tower at (928) 200-9095 for the one and only Taxi service in town.
Sunday, October 30th
9 am: Class of '82 40th Reunion Breakfast ~ Del and Becky Phillips Home, 7860 S Hopi Street, Globe
For those wishing to pick up the reminiscing and fun on Sunday morning, the Phillips have graciously opened their yard to us for a breakfast/brunch gathering.
This casual event will give those wanting to participate one last chance to catch up and get a nice breakfast to start their day.
Please note that registration is required for this event to ensure we provide enough food and beverages for everyone in attendance.
