Walk the black carpet, toast with a glass of sparkling wine or non-alcoholic beverages and enjoy some hors d’oeuvres as we celebrate the opening of the 2022 Portland Film Festival presented by Comcast NBC Universal.

This event is free and open to the public. In attendance will be local and visiting filmmakers, Festival staff, and notable industry leaders.

Hundreds of Portlanders and guests attended pre-covid. The filmmaker reception included over 150 directors and producers from a recent year’s roster of films, making it the most prominent film industry event held annually in the State of Oregon. This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever.

The Portland Film Festival is one of Oregon’s most prominent film festivals and was named “one of the coolest film festivals in the world” by MovieMaker Magazine. This year’s Festival will be held on October 11-23 and will include over 407 films from around the world, focusing on independent voices. Passes are on sale now!

Ignore Google and Apple Maps. Both maps will send you to the wrong location. Enter through the North East entrance next to the old Marshalls retail space. Look for the VHS sculptures in our headquarters. The screening rooms and theaters, workshop, and event spaces are steps away from our HQ. You will not find the festival or theaters on Google or Apple Maps.
