Grief and Mindfulness Workshops

Description

After a suddent traumatic death, the pain of our grief is unbearable. Grief and Mindfullness Workshops are intended to help survivors to breathe again, practice self-care and learn about how trauma affects us mentally, physically and emotionally.

The Workshops will be facilitated by Aleida Garcia,M.Ed. who is a co-victim and survivor of the homicide of her son( Alex), an advocate and an educator. Throughout the 10 weeks, we will engage in group support, breathing practices, aromatherapy, creative expression, visulatization, and other mindful and sensitive interactions

Mindfulness practice helps us to reduce stress and continue our journey after the traumatic death of a loved one. Please come out to join us.
