Crisis Intervention and Peer Support is provided following multi-victim vehicle accidents, robberies, shootings, homicides, suicides, active shooter situations, natural disasters and other events which may result in stress reactions. Crisis Intervention and Peer Support has been provided to fire, emergency services, law enforcement, military, faith-based organizations, business industry, education and medical facilities. This internationally recognized course teaches the foundational skills to assist with local, state, national and international traumatic events. Training is the first step in being prepared to help those in need.

CISM, Critical Incident Stress Management, is the international standard for First Responder, Airline and Organizational crisis response. This 3-day (June 28-30, 2021) training is for first responders (LE, EMS and Fire), chaplains, mental health professionals, healthcare personnel and community members .

Are you available to attend?

This course is organized/sponsored by District 7 Fire & Rescue through a Criminal Justice Division, Office of the Governor grant. There is a $60 fee for refreshments and lunch for the 3 days. CE is provided from TEEX for TCOLE, Fire & EMS.
