Ready to take your career to the next level?

Have you been thinking about making a shift in your current job or a career change but not sure where to start? Our career coach will walk you through the important questions to ask yourself so you get crystal clear on what you want to do next. You will learn how to develop a skills inventory, as well as how to map your current skills, passions, and curiosities to new opportunities. The session will also introduce you to assessment tools that identify your talents and strengths to help you start mapping your new beginning!

The Center for Financial Inclusion and the Financial Empowerment Center at the Greater Washington Urban League is hosting a "Spark Series" of classes to help you maximize job earnings to fuel the life you want to live. Our series of classes, led by industry experts, will cover a range of topics from mapping your passion to your career to navigating power structures in the workplace. The classes are designed to be taken as a series as each one builds upon the material from the class before it. We encourage you to take all the classes in the series. Upon completion of the "Spark Series" you will be eligible to take advantage of our career coaching sessions at no cost to you.

Our highly interactive classes are designed to include any learner at any level. At no charge but with a commitment to invest in yourself, you will leave with a pathway to reach your career goals.

All classes will be held online via webinar. The Workforce Spark Series will cover the following material during the month of October. Stay tuned for other dates to be announced!
