  • Performance Hall: Roam the elegant performance hall with its original red velvet Andrews opera chairs. See the stage where John Philip Sousa and Oscar Wilde appeared and magician Harry Houdini vanished.
  • Historic Stage Sets and Drops: See pieces from the finest collection of historic stage scenery in North America, discovered in the Tabor’s attic in 2020. They were featured in the New York Times. The drop curtains and sets date back to 1888 and 1902, with the 1879 sets in our attic not yet on display.
  • Tabor Treasures: Tour the Tabor Suites and find historic treasures in the refreshed Tabor Second Story Museum. Learn the history of this grand dame of the west and about the many famous visitors who have passed through its doors.

Talented Guides

Sink into the experience with our talented guides, dressed in period costumes. Local drama students or senior history buffs will give you an interactive tour. They’ll speak in the voices of Leadville historical characters. Tours offered in English and Spanish languages.
